Hi all wave

I have as of now made Durbs a moderator.

I offered him the position and he has volunteered to help the site and members in the unpaid position of Moderator.

As with all Moderators this is an important position which is there to assist in the running of the forums.

Durbs has been helping in the forums without title of moderator, so this change will help him to resolve items himself, without always needing to contact other moderators for assistance.

So a big thankx to Durbs and the other Moderators Charles, Dom, flash fire, Pele, and Pyrolific.

grouphug

Much thanks

Malcolm

Moderators are members invited by the administrator to help with the site. They have kindly volunteered their valuable time to help keep the forums tidy and clean by providing the following service at no charge.

What a moderator does

* They can move a topic if it is deemed to be in the wrong forum and email the owner of the topic of its new location.
* They can edit or delete posts that are not suitable to display on these forums( see list ). They should also refer you to these pages should the need arise.
* They can also close threads and redirect people to previous threads.
* Help you if you have a problem.

Do the moderators make the guidelines?

* No , the moderators do not make the guidelines. The site administrator makes the guidelines. If you have a problem with them contact the site administrator . All members (including Moderators and Administrators) must abide by the guidelines.

When to contact a moderator?

* If you see an unsuitable post look for the icon below the offending message. A form will open allowing you to contact the moderators all automatically by email in order to check the message and take appropriate action.
* If you are concerned about a thread or someone's behavior.
* You have made a dreadful mistake and don't know how to fix it.
* You have a question or need advice.
* If you have a problem with them about non moderator related issues then contact them by email or PM.

When not to contact a moderator?

* If you ever have a problem with something that a moderator has done you should contact the site administrator.

May your balls always burn

Apologies for the lack of response, I was stuck at home in a spandex suit so tight I couldn't even move - I had to be cut out.

You raise the mental image of having to cut you out of a too-tight spandex suit while Shaolin Dave and I are around? I mean, really, the two dirtiest gay minds in the history of HoP and you say THAT?
