so i like the tricks, and it looked like fun to make, but i really can't be bothered watching it all the way through. it's like a school exercise where you have to show all your working. what gives? why the obsession with making 11 minute videos?

Dude... Its the first 5 minutes... Its unnecessary IMO.
I was watching it full screen and couldn't see the progress bar. The first section was over and I thought it was through. I was about to leave feeling as though I had wasted 5 mins...
Then it went on and I was thoroughly amused, even though I can't be bothered with most contact staff vids. I am a sucker for a good doubles contact I guess. But, I haven't been this impressed since Blue's miniero vid.
Let's turn those old bridges we crossed into ashes.

so i watched it again, starting 5 and a bit minutes in (ish) and if it started there i think it would be ne of my favourite ever staff videos - lots of kyle, meg doing cool things with sticks nd editing, nice music, sunshine, dave(lord), gabes pool...

Rob, sounds a bit harsh? I have a ridiculously short attention span when it comes to manipulation videos, so know where you are coming from, but still, you should be careful not to hurt Meg's feelings, she's delicate

Apparently I have nothing better to do then watch 11minutes of silliness (and awesomeness). I agree, it gets juicy at about 5 min in... but I watch it all, aren't you proud!

Dunno the songs, but the venue (apart from my pool....) is the Brisbane Powerhouse. Lovely spot by the river.

The first track off an album by scubelous pip and some other guy. You'll find them on youtube pretty easy.
2nd track is called Print This, by a finnish dude, second name Eklund.
3rd track is by Gotye, probably called one of the lyrics, like 'thanks for your time'
