Hey Everyone!

well I thought I would start a thread for the upcoming CG.

All we have locked in for now is the date;

Friday to Monday, 2nd to the 5th October.

www.common-ground.net for info,

MMM CG goodness.

***UPDATE***

most of the tickets are now sold.

ALL TICKETS NOW SOLD

Please do not pass on ticketing info to people who have not bought tickets, if you put money in our account and have not confirmed with Kate, then we will send you back the money minus postage.

It looks like this coming CG09 will be the last big CG that Katinca and I organise for a while (perhaps someone else will take up the torch?) - cuz Katinca and I need a bit of time for travel and getting our land in order. However, we have a lot of very special ideas for this CG which will probably make it better than it's ever been before, so if you are still tossing up whether you want to come this year or not, you really should come.

Hey Ciara, the bus is really really easy. From right outside the terminal every 15 minutes. Really super fast on a kind of crazy track thing for most of it. Really really easy!!

Either Newtown shops or the Paradise bus depot are easy for people to do from Montacute... Airport a big ask...

Hey folks, I've got a last minute request for some free space in a car heading from Melbourne some time before Friday. I'm going on a plane Friday morning but I could use a hand getting some gear there, most of my friends that I know that are going either already left or are flying in.
It's Ash from around Melbourne town for anyone that's wondering who the stranger on these forums is smile Haven't posted here for a while.
Cheers folks cya there

okies - is a bit of a late request - but ive got a cool idea for the opening of the show.

could everyone who reads this bring something WHITE to wear - even if it an
- old sheet or something that you can cut holes in and wrap around your body in a bizarre manner (highly prefered)
- 2nd hand wedding dress/tutu etc (also preferred...)
- white raver outfit....

etc etc etc.... as long as its white. but the more drapy or outrageous, the better!!! the fire-risk involved with this (despite being in the show) will be negligable.

even if you have no desire to be in the show if you bring something white along to loan it will help immensely!

thunk yoo!!

Hey folks!
Is there anybody out there with spare spave in a tent? as it seems to be rainy sleeping outside might not be the best idea, so if anyone has some room for me that'll be awesome!

@ Brenn: Did you manage to source out a lift yet? 'cause me and Simon need a lift from Adelaide as well. If you can't source something out maybe we could share a cab!

Oh and btw. I might not be able to follow this post so if you can help me/us in anyway just send me an email : alexander.ross@yahoo.de

Thanx a lot!
Love & Peace!

I can't wait! I was desperately trying to get tomorrow off work so we could set off this arvo (well in about 10 mins time from now really), and spent a lot of the day ringing staff to find someone to fill in for me. But it's a no go, so we'll be leaving tomorrow arvo and arriving about midnight tomorrow night.

Ed...I don't really own anything white. I'm a very messy person and white clothes just makes this more obvious. sorry.

Can't wait to hang out with all you awesome kids soon!

A russ-shaped russ mobile (ie. fancy new 4wd) is happy to be put on the case, brennable! He'll probably be doing a few trips from say 2-4pm to the newton shopping centre/paradise interchange. A Lou-shaped Lou shall be doing a run (sadly not in little yellow car this year..) most likely around then too! smile

Heaps of others happy to help lift from there also, so just look like a CGer (however this applies..hehe) and *someone* will giva ya a ride!

hug see you all soooon!

I lost my necklace at Common Ground....
It is an oval pendant on brown cord - it has a goddess figure in the centre of a yoni.
If anyone knows anything about it, please contact me as I miss it dearly.

Thank You

Common Ground 2009 was an amazing celebration!! Thanks to all who were on the journey.....
