So this is something that I usually find fun to do on other forums, and I think it would be especially interesting on this one as I'm sure there is a huge variety of really good music.

So yeah, just as it sounds...go down in alphabetical order and put your favorite artist that starts with that letter. Try and keep it to one if you can, however I totally understand...there will be a few that I just CAN'T leave off as favorite artists of all time...they just happen to start with the same letter.

Allman Brothers
Bassnectar/Bob Marley
Cypress Hill
Daft Punk/Disco Biscuits
ekoostik hookah
Foo Fighters
Grateful Dead
Hallucinogen
Infected Mushroom
Jay-Z
Keller Williams
Ludacris
MGMT
The New Deal/Notorious BIG

Papadosio- Favorite band of all time, personal connection with them is incredible
Queen
RJD2/Red Hot Chili Peppers
Sublime/Shpongle/Slightly Stoopid/STS9- Sublime is #2 all time, the other 3 round out the top 5 all time favorite
Theivery Corporation/Tupac
The Velvet Underground
Widespread Panic/Wu Tang
Yonder Mountain String Band
311

I went ahead and threw a band that started with a number down at the end too. So I'm sorry I didn't really follow my own rules and I listed multiple bands for a few letters...my bad its just so hard! If I could I would have more than one for almost every single letter probably! ha

Anyways guys have fun, I think this should be interesting.

I thought about it and came to the conclusion that authors are much easier for me than musicians. So I'll try it with authors now:

Adiga, Aravind; Amis, Martin
Barrie, James Matthew
Chraibi, Driss; Carey, Peter
Desai, Kiran
Frisch, Max
Garcia Marquez, Gabriel
Hemingway, Ernest
Jansson, Tove; Joyce, James
Koestler, Arthur; Kundera, Milan; Kipling, Rudyard
Lovecraft, H.P.; Lewis, C.S.; Lindgren, Astrid; Lagerlöff, Selma
Martel, Yann; Marber, Patrick
Naipaul, V.S.; Nabokov, Vladimir
Ondaatje, Michael
Poe, Edgar Allan
Roy, Arundhati; Rushdie, Salman
Stoker, Bram; Shelley, Mary; Stevenson, Robert Louis; Schiller, J.C.F.
Tolkien, J.R.R.
Wilde, Oscar

see, that works much better.

P.S. I've had to write them down with their surname first, because totally many have a first name that starts with either A or M, so that was no real distribution then. Just 2 groups.

Aimee...love The Crystal Method as well...just saw them again in Columbus in November it was real tight.

I am also in love with breaks right now...you get down with DJ Endo much? Blessed Breaks is insane...and Chemistry, Graveyard Shift 3, and his Summer 07 Breaks Mix are all REAL good.

Agreed. I love the self titled album the most....

The idea to include a book you're supposed to write the meanings of the words in yourself -a stroke of genius.
