It would seem to me that those turbines are not spinning near fast enough to launch ice at one another with the force it would take to break a fin... I am curious how far away they found the missing piece, if it was right at the base then the explanation would be easier to rule out a UFO, but if it was found yards away that would mean something really nailed it.

Well the glowing thing in the sky from the second link is a sun dog. That's basically a small section of a rainbow that can appear on a sunny day when the sun is out. They're really bright and sometimes, if the sun is occluded by another cloud at that moment, can be brighter than the sun.

This is near where i live.
It was realy cold on sunday and snowing a bit too. Probably just iced up and fell off and hit the other blade on the way down.
A few months ago our local newspaper was reporting for weeks about UFO sightings which eventualy turned out to be just sky lanterns from a nearby party.

Live life in a spin!!!
but if you fall don't come crying to me!!!

One eyewitness John Harrison, of nearby Saltfleetby, said he had seen a 'massive ball of light' with 'tentacles going right down to the ground'.....is it just me or does that sound a bit like the flying spaghetti monster?

Gotta love the big red circle round the knackered turbine in the pictures, cause it's really hard to tell which one is broken...

If Durbs says its true it must be.

Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Indeed, the government coverup machine could be in full swing - there havent been any explanations for the strange lights, and anyway, bolt failure could be caused by a ufo crash surely?

Ironically, in a time when people are suspicious of their governments keeping secrets, I always find it more suspicious when the government are sooo eager to dish out the news on supposedly top-secret projects. Such as details about a highly secret Stealth plane any sane government would want to keep hidden from our enemies. Whoever they are...

Another example includes when they showed on the news how EXACTLY they were gonna catch Osama Bin Laden using burrowing missles. Including very fancy graphics with cross sections of the caves in Afghanistan. Before they executed the plan. Doesn't 'Media Blackout in time of war' mean anything? Possibly not if the authenticity of the war is in doubt *cough*.

*DIALS NUMBER* "Yo Osama! Hey Bud. So yeah, just been watching the news in England, you might wanna move a few metres to your left. No Probs, Later Bro..."

A friend of mine is a huge UFO watcher and believes the next few years will see an increase in UFO activity. Possibly even First Contact. I am taking it with a pinch of Salt. Possibly Black pepper too. I love my condiments...
