WOW!

That was a beautiful performance!

Really inspirational. Great to see how you showed the audience what you were doing with the fishtails. I always thought that was the hardest part of those kind of moves. Great concept!

now which circus will you be working for wink

oh and it was funny to boot

hello together smile
thank you, i am glad you appreciate my work smile
have you seen it yet gabe ? what do you think, what do you think ? (cheers for taking good care of angie & sonja hug smile hug

yo dave, cheers dude, palstered hand ? arrrgh well in which position is your wrist ? wink i bet you todo fishtales on it...come on it´s a moving balance, and as such it just need one point of contact to your wrist/hand/underarm....so it is possible and the lessons you learn from fishtaling with plaster arm will be valuable for asskicking new FT-figures when you are back in training wink -just make sure you warm up your shoulder for the extra weight wink

for the coulour/visibility of fishtales..i worked with various ideas for a long time. it is, what makes performance so exiting next to technique developement. finding ideas/images which enable non-jugglers to appreciate your work and to dive into a new world ...try it!

really nice!
its all about the images!I think people can relate more to images than constant motion, which can get confusing.
I have been working on a bit of a similar vein with tripple contact staff myself.

hello,

staffs are made out of aluminium, some types of foam, tape, rubber & other plastics.
its difficult to specify, as there are like 10 different designs in the video. (all the prototypes from 2007-08)

what are you looking or ? training staffs, performance staffs ?

Hello
Great video, Sebastian.
I'm also interested about the staffs you use to juggle, and exactly? what's their weight?

hello guys,
i am not very much online these days, more working & training.
so, well training staffs, it does all depend a bit on your body.

generall i recommend weight from arround 200- 400 gramms a staff. depends on your preferences. a "heavy" staff is easier to catch, but also more tiring. a light staff might be bouncy and harder to catch, but you can go on forever.

important to me is a soft grip (the fall out of 7 metres into your hand, after some hours of training you feel the difference of a soft grip band and a hard one)

and most important soft covers (foam) at the ends. for adding more momentum to the spin in the throw and to protect your body. also put some rubber, thick foam or stuff (don't know whats avaliable in your countries) on the end of the staff. otherwhise it will poke its way through the soft cover and is an injury risk again.

well thats what i can say via internet. i am thinking of starting producing training staffs in 2010 / 2011. quite some time, but i want to redefine the designs more detailed.

many greetings from vienna,
sebastian

hello HOP,

we made a new video, yiheay and got David J. Nolan to edit it again grin he is the man!!

A homage to the later period of austrian Heimatfilm.

Shot on the Villacher Vorderalpe in Carinthia, with slovene alps in the background, an australian singer interpreting a swiss overture and cut by a british editor.

A pure austrian project!

enjoy grin
