Tech:The Sweep (wheel plane)

[ outside | inside | inside | outside]

-----------------------------------------------------------

Sweep, uses the whole de plane in two frames,
separated by buzzsaw.

This move is basic for several other wheel plane
techniques, like inversion or inswing.

Came from club swinging, first mentioned
in 'You can go the ball' thread.

Also described in A.Jilling club swinging
& pole spinning book:

-Lesson 10

-----------------------------------------------------------

Also connect low, hip and high
shoulder reel.

tech note end,

ah yes, i see what youre doing here.. normal reels, but applying the inside discussed in the other thread you have going at the moment. i was sort of playing with stuff similar to this the other night, ie. reels in front-inside and back-outside plane, but didnt think of doing all 4

i like it smile

Concept of very basic technique, described in plane view.

Where is it's base?

In cross-over view, sweep is a reel, in other words,
two 'separate' figure of 8 moves.

I should write more,

What about moving directly from ventral (front) to dorsal (back) inside frames?

er, yeah I was thinking of a few different sequences:
[ outside | inside | inside | outside ]
[ Poi | --- | --- | --- ] 1st rotation
[ --- | --- | Poi | --- ] 2nd rotation
[ --- | --- | --- | Poi ] 3rd rotation
[ --- | Poi | --- | --- ] 4th rotation
[ Poi | --- | --- | --- ] repeat move

OR

[ outside | inside | inside | outside ]
[ Poi | --- | --- | --- ] 1st rotation
[ --- | Poi | --- | --- ] 2nd rotation
[ --- | --- | Poi | --- ] 3rd rotation
[ --- | --- | --- | Poi ] 4th rotation
[ --- | --- | Poi | --- ] 5th rotation
[ --- | Poi | --- | --- ] 6th rotation
[ Poi | --- | --- | --- ] repeat move

OR

[ --- | Poi | --- | --- ] 1st rotation
[ --- | --- | Poi | --- ] 2nd rotation
[ --- | Poi | --- | --- ] repeat move

So Richee, which one(s) are sweeps by your definition?

All right then, lets look on the code dynamic:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sweep(regular)

Code:[ L | .. | .. | R ]
[ .. | L | R | .. ]
[ L | .. | .. | R ]
[ .. | L | R | .. ]
Sweep(asynchronous)

Code:[ L | .. | R | .. ]
[ .. | L | .. | R ]
[ L | .. | R | .. ]
[ .. | L | .. | R ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't forget that frame, is just another atom.

"We should look what we have missed.."

Who sad that?

meditate,
