During winter months we host pajama movie/tv day on Sundays.
We lounge around in warm comfies and do very little other than hang out and watch stuff with a large group of friends, and most often we do it either ala Rocky Horror style (like Princess Bride) or we watch them MST3K style (esp cheeeesy movies like Dungeons and Dragons, lol). Of course snacks and cocoa are bountiful. Sometimes we play equally geeky games while watching the movies, like a Munchkin variation or Guillotine.

We are sci/fi, fantasy, dark hero, supernatural geeks with smatterings of mind screw, silly animation and good action thrown in.
Or we watch a season of The Muppets or Jim Henson stuff. wink

What would your tv/movie playlist be for a complete jammie-geek day in?

Honestly? Old radio shows. tongue2

Although... Princess Bride, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, various anime.

A friend had a painfully bad collection of kung fu movies. Really cringe-worthy....

OMG Pogo..that's too much.

Valura, saw them when it came out (I actually know one of the people who was an "advisor" on it!). I own it on DVD. I miss it. It was so awesome.
But I haven't had a movie day of it...and should! Why didn't I think of it???
See, you're brilliant!
And who doesn't like boobs? And bearded ladies and cryptic midgets?

FRD. I'm with ya on the Firefly/Serenity. I love Heart of Gold.
BTW, here's something interesting that we noticed 2 geek-ends ago, during which we watched The Crow 2. Richard Brooks, The guy who played Jubal Early the sadistic bounty hunter in the Objects in Space episode also pays Judah Earl, the sadistic bad guy in The Crow 2, a *very* similar character. Interesting no? Methinks he time travelled and they were just saying his name wrong!

aston, like Drunken Master bad or worse? We can't do those. They hurt too much. laugh3

Electricblue...The Mighty Boosh? That sounds like a 70's porn movie..oh, wait. That would be *bush*..never mind. wink

Pele: Worse. One of the worse ones was 36 Deadly Styles. Which just suddenly goes "The End". More recently, a Korean movie called "The Legend of the Shadowless Sword". We just watch for the awesomely choreographed fighting. Plot? What is plot? tongue2
