Posted:Meteor has its advantages and disadvantages compared to Poi. If you haven't had any Poi experience, then learning propellors and butterflies might be difficult at first.
Its harder to keep a meteor spinning properly and easier to whack yourself. On the other hand, I find it has a lot more in common with staff moves than Poi, so if you have any basis in staff, you will have some knowledge to fall back on.
The playlist I linked probably wont do you any good until you get the basics down. Its more about some experienced meteor players showing their stuff.
