I'd just like to mention I'm very jealous of any of you who are going. Shpongle are one of the few musical groups of that nature that I do enjoy... I'd have loved to have been down there with toys and a truckload of the groove.

Have lots of fun, guys!

I actually for a split-second considered flying to London just to see this show. I've been to Simon/Hallucinogen sets before but the opportunity to see an actual Shpongle show is so rare, but alas, I just couldn't justify it. If I were just one tax bracket higher...! laugh3

I'm sure it will be fantastic. Can't wait to hear the new stuff.

taken out of context i must seem so strange

hey doodz,
I have only seen sphongle a few times, however I feel quite privileged to have been hired to perform at their show at New years eve (Raja Ram grew up in Caulfield, VIC). It's groovy cus I practice to their first two albums in the early days.
I'll do my best to get footage smile

I'll be there, and probably have a spare ticket for the after party as well, for anyone who, like us, was too slow and didn't buy a ticket before they sold out, but who, unlike us, wasn't able to get some anyway.
Or something like that...

Not doing the afterparty, was thinking about it, decided not to as I'm going out to a squat party Saturday, by then it had sold out anyway... smile

Not long now, exciting! grin

A fun time - though that's the 2nd band I've seen at the Roundhouse and the sound's been terrible.
A round room, does not a good sound-system make.

Lots of energy, not as "live" as I thought it would be, but darn good choons and lots of fun grin
