I'm gonna get a new smaller tent, just went camping in Swanage and my big tent was just collapsing all over the place in the wind!

Plus, I hate asking people to help me set it up when I know they'd rather not set up a massive, annoying tent! ubblol

Will, That all depends on what day you get there...

like, if you got there saturday, I'd give you until saturday night. if you arrived on Sunday, I'd give you until sunday night. If you arrived Saturday night, I'd give you until saturday night biggrin

Zazie: Bristol is more of a chilling out juggling convention than a structured, action packed one. people tend to trickshare rather organise workshops, but a few do end up happening nonetheless. all this is decided as near the time as possible, like five minutes before biggrin

As for what's going on, generally lots of drunken silliness, some backgammon, some chilling with friends, ping and pong, and if you feel so inclined, some juggling wink Bristol makes everyone slack, and rather than commit to running a workshop, people would much rather have fun in the sunshine...

Oh, and the show. there's no one billed, because there's no one booked. you go to the festival, and if you feel like performing, you let the right people know, and you're in the show. biggrin no one puts any pressure on anyone to do ANYTHING during this festival.

And I owe you one pillow fight. wink biggrin

Im not sure its QUITE as layed back as all that.....no actually it pretty much is!!
There are workshops run, theres a board for each days ones. They are generally put together the day before, there are certainly additions that same day and there is ALOT taught/learnt through skill share and just watching, jaw dragging on the floor at any time of the day/night.
There is a list on the notice board for workshops offered/wanted which you can add to.
The show doesnt have booked performers, but its not quite as easy as 'if you want to be in youre in' - There is a certain level of quaility! Indeed the BJC show is usually excellent - well worth the entry....oh its free!! oh yeah! wink
All in all - its the best Juggling convention in the world - and ive been to a few - Youre guarenteed to have a wonderfull time, party hard and learn heaps too - well probably one or the other!! or both...maybe wink

Jem: I recommend taking five days holiday... (I'm guessing you get weekends off...) wink

Zazie: There's an Asda pretty close by which people go to for foods, or the cafe onsite.

As for the sunday night, I missed it last year and was gutted. The last weekend is always the best.

I always thought of indigo as blue...

As for Clon, I'm not going anymore. frown Too much stuff to do.
