probably this year - CG arranged pickups will happen in a couple of big hits each day, rather than trying to organise pickups for each and every person/group that arrives at the O-Bahn stop (paradise).

Unless someone from Adelaide wants to step up and handle the whole thing - its just that its quite a big and ongoing job, that happens right when we are doing last minute prep for CG.

Also - we don't have a spare people mover this time, which again makes it a bit more difficult cuz we will probably be needing our Van regularly throughout the day.

again - if anyone from Adelaide can pitch in and arrange to pick-up individuals/smallgroups, it would be awesome! However we will be doing pickups, just not in the kinda continuous method we used last time.

is there a bus that goes from the o-bahn stop to those shops near cg? i was just thinking if we can get ourselves there & grab supplies, maybe that would make it easier/quicker for pickups?? just a thought! biggrin

Ok spoken to Jameso and he's up for doing some driving too BUT although we are looking for a van we DON'T actually have one at the moment so its kind of pie in the sky (mmm pie...) at the moment. Though if there is a van floating around we will happily drive it to do pick ups. Will have a yarn to Josho and Kateo and keep you all posted... hug hug

Hmm booking flights sounds too much like actually being organised...then there's the fact that the week before is uni holidays so I'm thinking of heading up a few days early...

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

*sigh* Perth is never included in cheap flights! It's crazy that sometimes it's cheaper going Perth-Melbourne then Adelaide because Melbourne -Adelaide is always on sale.

Definitely not driving... frown

*is le booked flightwise*

I am flying up with one other at 2:15 and arriving in Adelaide at around 3:10pm. it's safe to say we can be at the Paradise junction at around 4pm onwards.

For those who are travelling up on the CG start and end dates (3-6), i'd start booking now: there wasn't much choice left frown

I can almost smell Common Ground its getting so close now... The only sad part about that is that I'm scared I won't have Buugeng for it! I'll put in my order as soon as Dai makes more, but who knows if that'll happen before CG! It really is a hard knock life...

Hi Everyone,

We have almost sold out for this year. I am expecting to sell out by the end of this weekend or early next week.

So better think quick if you want a ticket and haven't got one, coz there is nearing a time where I will say - 'nope' - 'thank-you - come again'

Cheers,
Kate

Hey Everyone,

I'm happy to say that Common Ground is sold out! With just over a month to go this is great going! Its shaping up to be the best yet this year - I'm quite excited!

Thanks for your support everyone!

If you haven't bought a ticket, its now too late. Try to be more organised next year. Please don't just show up - its not fair on us, or all the people who have been organised enough to make their contribution early. Gatecrashers will not be welcomed.

some people may have organised a ticket but not paid for it yet - if you are in this position, then you know who you are. If you are unsure, send me an email.

I'm really enjoying how much photography is happening at this festival - it's a very pretty outdoor setting.
