Hey everyone,

I've been asked a lot lately to 'reserve' tickets for people for this reason or that reason who havent got $30 yet.

We did a bit of this last year to be accommodating for people but several people with reserved tickets didn't end up coming, and several other people who wanted to come missed out because we took the 'reserved' tickets into account.

To avoid this happening again, we aren't reserving tickets for anyone unless they are coming from OS.

So, Reserve your tickets by buying them - we set the price very low to make it really affordable so there isn't any financial hardship involved for anyone who really wants to be there. I mean lets put it in perspective. Save $10 a week for 3 weeks and you have saved enough for CG. Buy the ticket in the next month and you can be fairly certain of getting one. Leave it much longer than that and you might miss out.

$10 a week doesn't even buy a couple of pints??!...I don't really think there are many people who can't afford to save that for a few weeks.

hi Guys - if you follow the procedure for bank transfer that we have outlined, there shouldn't be any trouble. The banks sometmes take a few days to move the funds, and sometimes it takes us a few days between periods in which we can check our mail (like our phone internet access died for a couple of days during a rainstorm recently).

If you havent recieved an email you were expecting, send it again - we always respond with a confirmation of payment within a week or less.

Cheers all!

Josh

Its more than just the koalas, snakes, and spiders you need to watch out for....

'Rogue' roo out of bounds to hunters
www.smh.com.au Daniel Emerson July 21, 2008

Police say it would be almost impossible to track down the kangaroo that badly injured a 65-year-old woman on Friday afternoon in Mudgee, north-west of Sydney, and a cull is also out of the question.

Despite a Department of Environment and Climate Change spokesman this morning admitting "there may be a dangerous animal in the area", he said the agency responsible for deciding whether to hunt it down would be the police.

"It's a population of hundreds of kangaroos, so how do you propose we do that? By doing some kind of kangaroo line-up?" Mudgee Police inspector Greg Spinks said.

"It's not just difficult; it's nonsensical.

"We don't drag kangaroos in here and charge them with assault. The moment a snake or a shark gets charged with biting someone, I'll go out and charge that kangaroo with assault."

Rosemary Neal suffered extensive facial and other injuries when she was attacked by a large kangaroo on her property as she walked through a paddock.

She credited her dog, Cindy, with scaring off the kangaroo after she dropped to the ground in agony.

hey geets you mentioned you booked with jetstar - though i assume that's via brissie?

just thought i'd remind any sunny coasters to recheck flight details since the Jetstar flight cuts from Adelaide to Sunshine coast.

Written by : Sunshine Coast Daily Online

Jetstar flights between the Sunshine Coast and Adelaide will end from July 1, as will the airline's Sydney-Whitsunday and Brisbane-Hobart routes, with services on some Adelaide, Avalon and Cairns routes to be cut by August.

Hi peoples.

If you are still thinking of going, don't think for too long. We are likely to sell out by the end of August - what's more if you decide to get your tickets after August you won't get the early bird price.
