Hi...am new here (clearly!) and am interested in knowing of there is anyone else living in the worlds biggest sand box (Dubai, UAE) who shares a passion for poi?

A brief break down of me is: Blonde (by tint, not temperament), old enough to have travelled - young enough to want more! Ex-Pat Aussie deaf translator managing an interior design company in Dubai (no call for AUSLAN in an Arabic speaking counrty...go figure!!). The move was a spur of the moment, planned in 5 days done in 20, whim (which sums me up perfectly).

Favourite color - found in the waters of Thailand. Still hunting the world for a color that tops it - but dont think I'll find one.
Fav Movie - Hard Candy, Constantine
Music - most anything (I'll admit to being a massive music tart)

and when I grow up I want to be on a boat, floating the world, looking back over my photo albums, laughing at the adventures I've had, and looking towards the next one coming...

That's about it...me summed up ..

now - does ANYONE live in or know WHERE in Dubai I can get POI???????? Mine were all very very well used, so customs said NO! and I had to leave them at home...
