How many entries allowed per person?

There are several of us with more than one as well.

Are these being judged in categories like in tat shows?

Tribal- b/w- color- fan favorite- spinning inspired wink?

This makes for a more even voting process because some people hate tribals or colors etc. The categories are fairly easy, not like styles of spinning wink

Or would it depend on number of entries?

I won't be able to enter until my last appt on my back is done on the 12th. Only 4 more hours to go (out of 12)!!!! I'll have to send myself a reminder to enter.

Well that and find a new camera (my less than a year old one was stolen frown )

Hmmm...sorry, you def hit on a passion of mine with this one! lol ubbloco

It does say on the conditions of entry only one per person, I had thought of that also. The only picture I had incorporated two of my tattoos.

I'd say the rule would be one picture only. Could a single entry be edited to collage the tattoos?

I do like the idea of categories because mine would get overshadowed by a big portrait, but I don't really like colour in mine, I like nice simple designs that're thoroughly meaningful to me, especially my newest inspired by a peace advocate taken before his time. smile

M_N_S...that's what I meant by entries, thank you for helping clarify. Not necessarily how many photos (some of us would take alot of space wink ) but how many tats in that one photo.

Would we have to specify which tat in the photo to be judged or would it be taken as a body of art?

I'm going to guess no collage though.

fire.chef, that is entirely too funny. The tat parlor I work in has people come in with homemade tats and it always gets a good laugh.

At least you used equipment, not, ya know, piano wire and ball point pen ink wink

what about body suits ? you can't get them in one photo as not much detail will show up, and you can't get all sides from one photo

collage photo's are allowed - see the jump move competition with the roller skate and horse jumping entries.

I hear what you're all saying about the categories - for now at least we'd like to keep it simple and just have one best overall category.

Is there a way to withdraw my old entry and throw up a new one so I can put up a collage one or is that it? Doesnt fuss me too much if its not possible since that one encapsulates the main one (The new one) and my other one... i only have one other that says "The Beatles" on my chest.

Too bad I haven't got my next tattoo yet... It'd win for SURE! Its going to be this... https://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l359/mother_Natures_Son/flower1.jpg

I'd vote for Simta's antispin staff tats if they were actually up... frown

there's a tiny bit of finishing off needed on them.

@george - would it be possible to enter pic of how they are now, then if i did have the finishin off done in time to update the pic?

its the same tat, there is just a tiny bit of shading to be done, which wont make much difference.

dont worry guy, ill get a pic up soon, then you can vote for me ubblol and tell everyone else to ubblol

LazyAngel, isn't the point to look at all of the entries once they're up and *then* decide?

To me it doesn't seem quite fair to the other submitters to prejudge and announce that you are doing so publically.

Now to publically "recommend" someone enter, that's different wink

simta, you can enter a picture and if you want to change it later then let me know and I can delete it. The only problem is that without 'special intervention' when I delete an entry, any votes with that entry get lost. In your example we may be able to make an exception but it woul dmean Malcolm tinkering in the database which we don't like to do if we can possibly avoid it! wink

I got no 7! Does anyone find it fishy that number 2 went up 6 days before the competition finished as well as being long before the tattoo itself was even finished?

I personally love how well number 10 did.

how DID number 10 do so well?

Personally I think 17 or 4 were the best...

I love big colorful things.

I do think you're right though, as an avid Beatles fan since I was born, he was taken too soon.
...And Ringo wasn't taken soon enough.... No, I'm sorry, that was messed up and I'm not that mean, but seriously, he needs to stop doing cover albums.

When you say number 10, you mean the person who finished 10th? If so, that would be me......and I didn't really do very well if I finished 10th did I? !!! Ah well, thanks to all the guys who voted for me anyway.... I'm just gutted I couldn't find any pictures of my better hairstyles, I'd have done better for sure.

Heh, not a problem. I wouldn't be so rude as to question your hair.

But a picture of a horse? *shrug* Now, if it had been a picture of a cute wittle fwuffy wabbit, that I could understand.
