My name is Nick and I am nineteen years old. I have been spinning fire poi for three years now. I would like any advice on joining a fire crew or starting my own. There aren't many fellow fire performers in my area but I would go to the ends of the earth to quench my scorched soul. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Nick Haug

try putting this in the [Old link] section of the board and you might get better responses, the social discussion board is for more indepth, wider reaching issues.

Can give you general advice but give these guys a try...

...at least they are in the same state and can probably advise you on local legislation and insurance requirements.

Yeah, definitely get up with the Ohio Burn Unit. Those guys are awesome. A few of them came to NC for a beach party and it was great to spin with them. Very talented group, and I'm sure they'd be willing to help you out.

On a side note, I feel ya. I'm working on joining a group here, and it really depends on who you know, and how much you're willing to give. Good luck. hug
