It's on!!!!
All details are at playfestival.co.uk but here are the basics cause this is just the tease thread, where we want you to chat and not clog up the PLAYnews thread.:
23-27 July in Llanfyllin, Wales, on the site of the rather lovely workhouse festival )

its much easier to get to than you might think. all travel stuff is on the website
tickets are on sale, and are £35 until June 1st so don't delay in getting one cause they go up after. (incidentally that is the same price as last year
)we can't wait to see you there!

Llanfyllin town centre is about a mile from the festival site, so easy walking distance. It has several shops, a bank, a chippy and at least 2 pubs. So pretty much everything you need.

aaaaand we also know how to use umbrellas in the uk, max. i think we'll just about manage to keep the camera dry

Is there a bar or not!!???!?!??!??!
well... truth be told, we will be bringing a bar...
actually its been in the planning since last year and its grown... a lot.... The "spinning at" play bar construction project has started and materials are being sourced.....
the marquee is 72 sqm.. up 42 sqm from last year. it is its got lighting and a hard floor and cusions and tables, a blackjack table and a vip area.... and we will be running bar flare, cocktail, chip manipulation and baloon modeling workshops and a snack and coffee stall and cocktails and beer and cider and wine and etc... The drinks will be as cheap as we can do them for as the bar is not for profit..
. but for fun.. so when your at play... come and say.. hiiiiiiiii
its all about the fun fun fun fun and more fun...

Well, as long as I don't draw on the t-shirt in brown... it should be alright... it's just everything that's black or orange that you're going to have to worry about...
I think anybody willing to stand up and have me draw on them for an hour can keep the t-shirt as a reward.
