It's on!!!!

All details are at playfestival.co.uk but here are the basics cause this is just the tease thread, where we want you to chat and not clog up the PLAYnews thread.:

Whee PLAY!

Can anyone tell me how frequently the buses run from Welshpool station to the grounds and how much it costs?

Brenn I just tried to find out this info using the site recommended on the play festival site for bus travel and all I can come up with is a bus numbered D76, but according to the timetables it says it takes 1hr and 28 mins. The play site says there is one that runs every 2 hours that takes 35 mins. I can't seem to find it on the bus timetable site though.

I would send a message to Dunc and ask him if he can tell you which bus he means. If you can find a bus number and the company of the bus I can then phone them to get a a timetable and a ticket cost for you.

I'm looking for a lift for Frix and Ana (intrika, performing at the festival) from either:

stansted on tuesday night (lifter can come to festival early)
london on wednesday (girls will come into london after plane)

fuel subsidies will be arranged and we would be incredibly grateful.

please get in touch with me (robATubereventsDOTorg)

Thank you!

Oh, I'm a PLAY virgin too, but not a festival one biggrin

Yup, come to my yoga workshops to start your day off with some bendy stretchy goodness. Hugs may be involved at the end biggrin

Lots of clothing layers are good. There's nothing worse than freezing your arse off mid festival. Should that fail, find someone to hug and latch onto. shouldn't be too hard smile

As far as I can tell there's electricity and showers at the site, so you can have a chance to freshen up should you wish smile

But just generally, be happy and open and huggy: everyone else will be! biggrin

hug

Bring something (or someone) soft to sleep on- there's nothing worse than having nowhere comfy to go when you're knackered and muddy.

Bring wool clothes, not waterproofs, 'cos the waterproofs just wind up keeping the water in after a bit, but wool's still warm even when it's wet.

Okay, they're camping tips in general more than festy tips- but should still be relevant smile

Most of all, remember to have fun biggrin
