All details are at playfestival.co.uk but here are the basics cause this is just the tease thread, where we want you to chat and not clog up the PLAYnews thread.:

its much easier to get to than you might think. all travel stuff is on the website
tickets are on sale, and are £35 until June 1st so don't delay in getting one cause they go up after. (incidentally that is the same price as last year
)we can't wait to see you there!

Just a question - was it the site that had to cancel the festival or the Play staff decision?
The site is completely uninhabitable and will be so for at least 2-3 months, there wasn't an option to stay as it would be impossible for any event to exist on that site.
Other sites we're investigated but the council following the license laws to the letter and not letting us transfer our license to another site was the nail in the coffin as there wasn't enough time (legally 10 working days) to complete another application.
With regard to refunds, I'm sure I mentioned this earlier...all refunds will be sent by the end of the week, not sure on clearance time into your bank tho.

just another question when will the date be known for next year as i have to book my holidays for 09 in nov 08 and would like to get the right week .

like mike i'm not gonna have enough money to travel to anywhere else (i couldn't afford travelling to Play! - i was going to stow away in my mate's car) so i guess i'll catch up with people at a later date
i'm going back to my job in a couple of weeks time so i'll actually have money to go places (woohoo!), should be down to Bristol for a few days for the convention in september, but hopefully i'll get to see everyone before then
to all... so infact-

OMG I'm so sorry that was me. We had to copy/paste it in and out a couple times cuz of a few addresses entered with comma's etc and other errors. It was fresh out of the data base so no errors in translation or anything like that. I must have pasted the list back into the wrong field.

I've always thought QFT was used as 'Quote For The...' as in quote for the win, derived in some way from FTW (For The Win)
