Hi Brenn, as with other years and as we have said in our website. We can do vego but if people have really specific needs for their diet they need to sort it out themselves. It's hard enough as it is to get the farmers to do vego smile

Oh and one other thing...

There will be sleep programmed in this year. We are going to have a shut down time to encourage people to go to bed and to do the day thing - ie participate in workshops - rather than ending up with a bottle outline (NOT cool!) and being Loud at night.

You know who you are.... and you really don't want to see either me or Serena really annoyed, tired and narky at night or in the day.... or worse both of us - as it would not be pretty or nice...

yeah i think there was a full blown glow volleyball match last year that lasted past like 3am or something.
too late for my beauty sleep.

I'm liking the plentiful chai idea. apparently it's like tea but better.

Hi Guys -

we've had a few requests recently for transfers and refunds for people who have bought tickets and for various reasons cant make it to CG. Well with the last two requests, we have now completed our waiting list (there werent many on there to start with because we were fairly straight up with people in saying the event is sold out), and will not be offering this service any further. This is because we actually dont have time to double handle tickets, and we don't want to have to process people's tickets at the last minute. We have only 4 days til we are based on-site ie no phone and no email, so we REALLY dont want to have to faf about with tickets anymore.

If you have a problem with this, then email us - however I dont think its particularly reasonable for people to be asking for refunds at this stage. We only ever said we would give refunds in the event of cancellation of the event. It's not like we can unbuy your fraction of the things we have already bought for CG, and give you back your share.

Cheers for your understanding,

Josh

Hey Ppls
The common ground logo will be screen printed onto the item of your choice at the event.(most likely Friday night) Tshirts bags pillow ships are all good choices.
Cost will be $2 per print to recoup screen costs and you can have either the logo and words or just the logo.
Choice of two colours that will be decided later grin
Items with seams are a little difficult.
You will need to dry the item and iron heat set it before use. We will have an iron and heat gun at the site.

Typically they run for about an hour. Some can be 30, 45, 60. etc.

Lol! Nice shot! smile I may well not even run it, I'll get a sus on whether or not people will want it when I touch down.

It'll be movement based and hopefully fun... I hope I get to run it. I probably will run it regardless of whether its required or not, just cos it'll be fun. smile

Hmmm... its all getting close and exciting!!!

I better make sure my video camera is charged... and my glow toys are charged.

can I just suggest that from what I've been hearing about people's intensions for workshops, that you let your imagination and dreams run wild - there are going to be some incredibly fun things at CG, and they arent all going to be things you expect (eg not just poi mastery workshops) smile

*****Announcement 3 - Gypsy market****

there are a fair few people who are going to be selling clothes (hippy, goth, psy, weird etc etc), chai, african drums, jewelery (much of it handmade etc etc) etc etc so you might want to bring a bit of pocket money, cuz tipically this stuff is one off - you wont get another chance to get it - type stuff. CG doesnt do eftpos so you may need a little cash if you are the kind of person who likes to buy from people you know arent being exploited and love their work etc etc.

There is a cashhole at the Coles shopping complex at Newton ..approximately 5-10minutes drive from CG so if you are in really dire need of money to buy that hand spun hand knitted jumper you can still get it if required.

hey there, do you need any fire wood for the bonfire? Cause we can bring some if you do...
Morgan and I are going to bring a big ball of string and some random things and make art. If anyone wants to join in we could do a workshop... we do this kind a thing all the time, we have a mini teepee in our front yard that has confused all the neighbours... smile
