i love mountains too...i don't like the people who kill them...(even though in themselves they may be quite nice people)

makes you think of what other things "they" might be doing.

Sorry for bad link, I tried to fix it thrice, but it's on HoP... shrug

Mountains are getting cut for short term profits and not set back to their "original state" (if that would be possible at all) after exploitation... If that would happen in the Alps there would be an outcry.

It's a pity that Europeans have to pay the price for being (more) ecologically conscious (in some respects) by rising costs and declining availability of jobs...

You may GoogleEarth locations in Indonesia, Australia and anywhere on the planet to find that this disrespectful outlook is not exclusively north American.. wink
