I've just bought my plane ticket back from Aus, and I'm stopping over in Malaysia for a week. I was gonna try go Thailand, but with the dates it worked out a lot more expensive for the flight.
So.. I'm gonna be flying into Kuala Lumpur on the 20th Jan, flying out from KL on the 28th. I've spent a week or two there before, but I'm curious if there is any spinny scene around?
Also wondering if anyone has been there that time of year and could recommend places to go- I've just twigged it may be the end of the rainy season on the East Coast, where I was thinking of heading for some diving.. but it just gives a month in all the guide books... and it should end Jan/Feb, so.. I may get away with it.. or not.
