I admit when I first read the headline I thought it was a cross-post from the Onion, but it's for reals. I haven't yet read the paper this article refers to, but am looking forward to doing so.

to be honest man, it doesn't sound that much more sane than string theory or M theory, from what i can gather at least.. both of those come closer to science fiction than physics.
its cool tho that its just some surfer dude, and not a hot-shot scientist
