hello,

the ejc will be in Karlruhe from the 2nd of august to 10th of august 2008.

This year, we want to make the fire-space more comfortable, so we would love to get some sugestions what poiple need.

this is the location:
https://www.google.de/maps?f=q&hl=de&...p;z=19&om=1
please post your ideas for decorations!

The city of Karlsruhe is concerned about any pollution by kerosene. Clean spinning will be an important topic at the fire-space.

thanks,
gé

I'll try and make it for some of the EJC, don't think I'll do the whole 9 days (that'd kill my carpal-tunnelled hands for ever, and going and just watching would be too depressing). Karlsruhe is just about an hour's drive from where I'm from, so should be able to combine it with visiting the family bounce

Ronan! I'll join you for the French convention! Woohoo! And EJC after that! I also think that this EJC will be a huge one and everybody should come. And since the germans had their ejc08 site up before the greeks had their ejc07 site up, I'm really confident that this one will be well organized. And their toilets should work too.

Point your toes.

I have an Idea! Have a Play area at the Paris convention! like what happend at the BJC!

That way i wont be forced to make really hard decisions....Or i could let ronan do the deciding for me....Yes.....Yes, this is a far better idea...

Whered i put me Rizzlas?

Today's subliminal thought is : " . ; ..." that is all.

Don't worry Rob, I'll have some words with Ronan when I see him next week. Although I'm not sure what those words are going to be, Carvin is really rather temtpting...

This WILL be my first EJC.

Whats the story with putting all the good stuff on at the same time?!?

Sorry Rob, I'd love to make Play but at the moment 1st French juggly convention is where I'm planning...

Hope to se you there Antti!

Hey Ge, looking good. Would it be better to have the chai and canvas next to the audience? Its difficult to really know from the photo but will the audience be walking through the preparation areas etc to get their chai?

100% confidence too
and I'm sure they will not have a firecamp w/o any fuel provided - like the greeks ubblol

Ditto frown
can't Dunc try to shift the date, or is everything already pre-booked ? I'd love, so much, to Play again

Don't want to take all the admiration away from my fellow countrymen, but Karlsruhe had an EJC before, so they are better prepared than the Greek companions - hence I am not that confident about the fuel....

Sorry Olive hug

Please don't change the dates of PLAY,

some of us from the Vulcan in America have bought our tickets to arrive before PLAY and stay until EJC. We we worried when we heard PLAY might not be happening because of the space and we looking for alternatives..but now we are happy that the event is happening still.

This summer is going to be a lot of fun!!!

We really want to come and meet all of you! wave

I expect so - it's about typical (I had a look at the figures from the logs of some previous EJC websites when trying to do work on predicting if number of hits in the pre-registration period was an indicator of how many people would attend from each country!)

I've booked my flight to Germany for EJC, now just need to book the actual ticket...

Is there anyone road-tripping from EJC to Portugal for Boom this year? Wanting to go by land travel to avoid having to check hoops etc in and out at the airport.

Just to remind people that preregistration ends on Friday 6th June (2days from today) - so you can use that last opportunity to preregister at https://prereg.eja.net/register.pl

Me and bex have booked tickets for ejc so we gonna be there.

How are people planning on getting over to EJC?

We'll be opting for the classic Play > EJC route smile Rob bluecat is heading up a very nice looking road trip from one to the other which i would love to be a part of.

We're planning of buying a van or car pretty soon and might be up for driving over. Depending on costs. Or if anyone else is driving we'd be up for sharing costs.

Getting very very excited to see everyone again smile
