So i was driving down the road this morning and the radio had a commercial come on. it went.....

(REAAALLLLLY long name of a city in NZ that has like 40 syllibles) and thats where i call home (in a bad aussie accent)
and goes like that for a bit.
then a guy comes on and says its a fact there is this place called (REAAALLLLLY long name of a city in NZ that has like 40 syllibles).

I was just wondering about this place, how is it spelled? what happens when you wanna mail something there? i mean tehre isnt a way it can all fit on the letter. Any history would be good too.
thanks.

PS

I see one other question:

"what happens when you wanna mail something there?"

Well, you first start by writing a letter.

For that, you will need a pen or pencil, and a piece of paper or a fish.

After you have written your letter, you place it in an "envelope".

Then you write the address of the person you want to send the letter to, on the front of the envelope.

You then put a stamp on the envelope (usually top right hand corner).

Then you put the envelope with the stamp on, with the letter in, in a "postbox".

Then the letter is opened and read by a team of gnomes who live underground.

They relay your message down a long line of gnomes before it reaches your destination, where the "head gnome" (for that area) writes down the message that was passed down the line.

Then the gnomes put that newly written letter through the door that corresponds to what you wrote on the letter that you put in the postbox.

And thats how it works.

"The hilltop ,where Tamatea with big knees, conqueror of mountains, eater of land, traveller over land and sea, played his koauau to his beloved".

There is also a maori legend asociated with it.

It's not a city.. it's a hill. With a couple of tourists and a very long sign on top.

It's even smaller than Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

Which I just tried to spell from memory and got only 2 letters wrong! Yay! Go stick that in yer pipe and smoke it, teacher who said ya thought I was dyslexic! biggrin
