its not that bad the dogs arn't been harmed or anything like that there just been made to look stupid (which they dont understand anyways)

Surely the costumes would annoy the hell out of them though! A dog isn't used to wearing a headband with feelers hanging off it and a dog can't understand why you're putting some weird contraption on their head.

Yuck.
It's not as bad as the selective breeding of seriously deformed animals though.. my total pet hate (terrible pun, sorry).. mutant goldfish wind me up.. really, what is it that makes people think deliberately breeding an animal that will suffer serious health problems is a good idea, because it looks funny?
At least dye and clothes are only temporary..

Dunno about dye -- when talking about fish, some underhand traders used to inject fish with dye to give them unnaturally bright colours. Basically giving the poor things all over tattoos. Thankfully, it's illegal now, at least in the UK.
By contrast, putting clothes on a dog doesn't seem too bad. I think it's stupid and pointless, but I've known dogs that would just welcome having something else to chew at.
