this might be dumb but how do i save a project on premier as a MPEG? or avi or whatever i need it to be for youtube.

I havent got the program, but Id generally suggest having a look at the "save as" option, or something on the menus, or "encode as" or similar.
If still nothing, try the Premier help file.
If still nothing search online.
If still nothing, hit computer monitor with mouse and swear loudly.

ya after i posted this i was thinking..."Did i try save as and then change the type of file?" so im not sure if i did that last night or not ill have to check when i get home.

for teh youtube... use adobe's encode for the web option. = smaller file.
encode movie is much harder to use, I only use it for outputting to raw DV.
