Shamelessly poached from Pooka's video post, by I think i'll go, so it therefore merits it's own thread wink

~~~
It's a french convention in the middle south of france, into the montains, really nicefull
19 to 21 october,
5euro for camping, breakfast and spectacles.
friday 19:
in the afternoon, spinners welcome,
about 19 H 00 : apéro, with the famous "Nico'punch" !
saturday 20
spinning initiation and workshop
on night:
open stage,
fire perform by Lara Castiglioni,
solos of Jé and Ben of the Compagnie des Tapis Volants,
inside concert by Swing Maboul (jazz tzigane) and juggle...
sunday 21
juggle and spinning !
juggle games...
~~~~

Key things that stick out there:
5 euros, for camping, breakfast and the shows!!
It's in the South of France

Spank my butt-cheeks if that isn't a good deal.
And the French are lovely.
I know, I met some once.

Rinse it out (and ting)

PS. As far as my rubbish french can work out, that name's a pun on the location (Mirabel and Balcon), and I think "mire" can be translated as "woo" in and olde-worlde stylee, so it's like a version of Romeo and Juliet's balcony seen only with juggling. Possibly.

Arse - SNCF train strike planned for the 18th October - of all the days to choose... angry
Not sure what'll happen if they do - apparently my ticket will be valid on the 19th (but not reserved), plus I don't know what time i'd actually arrive, and it means sorting out somewhere to stay in Geneva for a night...

Ok, but we talked with yvan yesterday, and train in France are really good, and there is no problem to find train even if there is strike planned!

(it's like if there are 4 train only one won't work, the 3 others will be ok...) biggrin

you jocking umm

your french is clearly ok, as good as my english

hehe

so, i think you've got best informations than us about the train....
the best way for us is to catch you on the way. in fact Valence is up to the convention, so, it's preferably for us if you can move to a village or little town.
there is some: -Livron sur Drome
-Loriol sur Drome
-Saulce sur Rhone
-Montelimar

all these towns are close to the motorway comin to the convention.
let me you if you can do it.

other thing, we have plan to move from montpellier in the beginning of the after-noon the 19th, so we will be close to the towns above around one ish or two.

hope you've got everything you need

let me no if there is an issue

see ya biggrin

montelimar is as far as valence, but more in the north so valence should be better, or the other town are OK for us, but a little bit more complicated for you...

I just send you a PM before to have a look on this topic,
so 13:15 is a little bit too early, between 15:00 and 17:00 should be better...

Montelimar duree 5h34m de geneve - Valence prends 3h...
En plus, mon billet pour Montpellier et valide sur la ligne a valence (au cause du greve), donc je regreet que Valance est beaucoup moins chere, et plus facile pour moi...

Erm...hmmm..
