From my limited knowledge of the Wales country and culture, it is an annual race against a train travelling along the coast. I believe any non-motorised means of racing are allowed (running, cycling etc) and it is for about 15 miles.

If there are any lovely people from Wales who know more about this, do shed some light biggrin
