I used the search engine and came up with nothing in relevance to the following..
I do realize that me saying I have possibly come across a new poi trick sounds dumb, but I honestly believe I created a new trick.
I have recently realized that the poi can be switched from hand to hand, simultaneously, with one swing. This can be done with just about any move that consists of cross overs, and the various butterfly formations.
Unfortunately, all I have is a blurry webcam, so I will not be able to record any tutorials. But this move does look very, very nice. When you're doing an butterfly, you can bounce it to a reverse butterfly in one switch. And if you do it with long arm movements, it looks like the poi bounce from thin air. The movement, obviously, switches the poi, which can make a very odd affect if you're using different colored poi.

seems this is a matt trick
mattbassman does a lot of throws and behind the back passes with poi A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

I've done changing hands, showed many how it swaps from forward to reverse butterfly.
I was really impressed with how Winged Avenger and MattyB smoothly did it in mid flow at strawberry fair though.

I'll sometimes switch from forward to reverse butterfly in front of me (one swing) then switch back to forward behind me (one swing) for a continuous switch in front and back.
Let's turn those old bridges we crossed into ashes.
We'll blaze a new trail,
and torch the rough patches.
