NEWSFLASH....
Our original caterers have confirmed for 2008 YAY.
We are pleased to welcome onboard "Sorry No Burgers" who we've worked with at a few festivals last season and their food is really something else, great portions and great prices. Mmmm
More updates can be found on the SL 2008 thread @ www.flamefireshows.com.

Newsflash!!

we want to know your preference people..
the opportunity has arisen for us to get Nizlopi (JCB Song) for our festival in June.

We want to know:

Do you want them wink i.e would you prefer a band like nizlpoi playing a chilled afternoon set

OR

a cheaper band with our limited funds spent elsewhere around the festival.

We ask because we want to put on want YOU want to see wink post here or PM me biggrin

I don't think I've ever heard of Nizlopi, I may have done, but I'm not bothered either way. I'll be going anyway! ubblol

IMHO, i think the festival is a great opportunity for newer bands to play.

I think it would be amazing to have them play.

Theyre one of the best Live bands I've ever seen.

(P.S. I'm still working on that stuff you asked me about matt.)

I've heard of them, so they must be reasonably popular... given that I'll be in Bristol then it should be doable to go biggrin easier than getting there from Scotland!

Personally, I would spend the money on other areas of the festival making them tip top rahter than let them slip just to have a big name in.

Stick four monkeys on stage with cardboard box and elastic band guitars and I'd be happy.

Whilst music is important, I just dont think its justifiable spending what I'm pressuming is going to be alot of money, to have a name that everybody knows.

Plus I think its nice to see newer bands getting exposure smile

Ditto Aimee and Blu.

I think a nice cafe would be better next time. That burger van was rubbish (no offence) but for a vegetarian, all you can eat is chips really. Chips and burgers for breakfast was a bit grim. hug

I think smaller band too,

and Jo the caterers in 2008 are called sorry no burgers, massive portions of REAL food ,vegetarian with meat option and last time I saw them that option was good biggrin meals are reasonably priced. Really nice grub tongue
