Ed.. not everyone reads that thread.
Besides, I think this video is good enough to warrant its own thread... :P

Especially as it proves that even a monkey can twirl a staff nana

Meh... I don't really like performing animals... certainly not tied up performing animals (you can see the rope hanging from his neck), performing with fire which animals are instinctively terrified of... am i alone?

No, I can't say I'm overly for this kind of thing either. Amusing for all of about half a second till you think, poor sod.

they both make me mad.

that dog's eyes is the true defnition of "puppy dog eyes"

and i hate how the japanese treat animals. it's really disgusting. when i was there there were tv shows where they'd treat non-domesticated animals like toys; like a girl who carried a sloth around with her all the time, wearing a little knitted jacket, and she'd have it climpbing on the poles on the bus, and on the back of chairs at restaurants. and my host family used to laugh!

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...

*feels almost guilty that he found it amúsing*

The Japanese approach to animals is "strange" - least to say - but I guess their approach to each other can be too...

However from the position of the dog I can't find it too offensive, at least he got the treat afterwards... maybe not so cool to have everybody laugh at him. In case of the monkey, I can't really add much, because in these countries (like Thailand) monkeys are traditionally held for collecting coconuts. They take his freedom - which ain't cool for any, but usually they respect and not abuse. He doesn't look scared - which amazes me. Naturally he would have an aversion to fire.

IMO there's a fine line, because actually some animals do receive pride from performing just as we do. Tricky topic...

ooops but that's too much tasting like "discussion" footinmouth carry on chitchatting, please.
