maybe people are fed up w/ videoz (too many to watch)
or maybe people don't like the promotion of firebreathing
or maybe people simply like watching & are too slack to answer

yes, it's surely a little bit of the four reasons given above biggrin

But the comments are the only feedback we have for videos. And it warms up my heart to read that someone liked a video I've been workin on for hours.

This video is sick, it makes me miss Paris so bad. The two person 4 beat corkscew had me stunned and that Pendulum track couldn't have been more perfect, I'm going to have to come back and visit all you crazy guys ASAP. Drum and Bass definitely makes for more intense firespinning.

PS: was that one guy at the start breathing fire through his nose?? CRAZY!

I havent done it since France, but this video makes me want to grab my torch and practice some "crachage du feu" in the front yard, definitely inspirational. Magnifique!

Your fire breathers make me want to cry. Who are they and do they share technique?

And I say you should research fire breathing a bit deeper before ranting to people about the dangers. Done correctly, fire breathing can be relatively safe. Obviously, BCC has survived long enough to get that good.

And Icon, although Firebreathing can be relatively safe, it's always harmful and one should know that firebreathing IS bad for health.

I must say this is definitely one of my favorite vids to watch in quite awhile, it's so well put together and goes so well with the music I just find it awesome. it really does make me want to learn fire breathing though I know I'm too scared to actually do it.

Be a GOOD fire breather depends on 2 things :

Good Product.
Good technic.

I tried to breath at Falmouth with the UK parafine ... I will never try again.

In France we have a cheap and "safer" product to breath that explain why we do more than in other countries.

If someone want to learn, the only way to is meeting another fire breather to teach you directly.

5 years breathin and teaching here and the only accidents I've heard/seen was just the same like with pois or staves..

Great vid. Very well produced, the fire was great. Damn the people who try to belittle firebreathing.

hi guys.

i'm not engaging in any fire breathing debate - my comment for your lubbly video is that:
- the two person poi movement is unreal!! however like lots of intricate multi-twirler choreo, it is let down by abrupt transitions into and out of.
- rubbish!! it turns me off at how much trash was laying about. i understand that this is not your responsibility, however it makes me ill.
- slow down! i loved the quantity of twirling, however it would be so much better if it werent so nervously quick and incorporated significantly more transitions. i realise that nerves often destroy fluidity and quickens the pace, so you did a great job considering the confinement and the need to perform in a 360 degree stage.

i have great respect of the sheer amount of videos you guys release. a very big thank you for a very big video, Koother!! you should feel proud of what you've shared for us!

"Put a finger on your mouth"

I've tried this with water since seeing this video and pretty much just end up with a mess. Perhaps I need more practice? Perhaps my technique is wrong? I consider myself to be a pretty good fire breather and my style is similar to that of the BCC breathers - Using lots of movement and dance to make the breathing more fun/exciting. If there is anything anyone can tell me about doing the double breath trick beyond putting a finger on my mouth, I would be most happy to hear it. But, of course, I understand if you wanted such techniques to be kept secret. Afterall, your product seems to be pretty good in that respect wink

Thanks for the link Kooothor.

To DAS: What fuel do you use in France and is it more safe than the 'ultra pure lamp oil' I've been using here in the states?

Also, what do you guys do if it's windy out? I'm sure more than half of that can't be done in a 10+mph wind.

"Petrol desaromatisé/petrol lampant" in France.

I don't know "ultra pure lamp oil".

The wind is not the problem, focus on the technic.

Wind isn't a problem? I can't imagine you can do those 360 spins very safely in wind... Or the one where you get up from laying down. Shoot, I have a hard time keeping a sustained breath for more than 3 seconds in 10mph winds.

I have to say AAAAAAAAAAMAZING.

And for those that think Breathing is lesser form of fire play. give me one reason why. Its is an art, a Performance, and yes any idoit can do it but to do it good (Like seen in the video) is just as hard or harder to do than poi/staff/whip/fan anything it is a skill that is in our (Collective Communities) Arsonal. For those that think it is a lesser form IMO need to embrace it.

I can spin a poi not good at all but i can spin it does that make me a poi spinner no.

I can spin a staff not good at all but can spin it does that make me a staff spinner no.

Etc etc. I do breath fire I do eat fire. I am not to the level of those as on the video (AAAAAMAZING) but I have something to strive for. Thanks for the video guys A+
