So, after 9 months solid, learning how to teach mini-people art, doing nothing but learning how to teach mini-people art, and generally teaching, I haven't had time (or space) to pick up my poi.
And to be honest, for the year before that I didn't do 'that' much spinning either!
So, unsuprisingly today, I wasn't that great!
Its more I've forgotten all the different moves, I can still do them when I try, so um, yeah, I had great fun with 5-beat weave variations, and some butterfly and flowers, but I ended up doing the same things constantly!
Has this happened to anyone else?
(Does someone want to remind me what you do with poi again
)So much for me being, kinda, not too bad with being up to date with poi, I dread to think what super-techi moves are about now!

I think she generally means children, Rave.
Prickly, you can pretty much do everything I can, plus 5-beat. And I have been spinning fairly regularly for nearly 2 years now.
If you can make it out to play on Sunday, there will be plenty of people to help you out with your spinning

Once you get back into the swing of things you'll remember all of your moves and you'll get your flow back.
I myself have lost my flow (learn't too many new tricks and forgot about the dance) so i can understand how frustrating it must be for you.

oh yes, absolutely. Just keep hitting yourself with those darn things and everythings gonna be alright again (at least that's what I keep telling myself)
