Anyways IQ is a silly measurement anyways.

I got 113 while trying to look like i was working at teh sametime.

But i am still not sure how good a measure it is. Common Sense is far more useful that being able to quickly tell wnat the next pattern in a set is, cos i get asked that every day at work

This is actually a Mensa supported IQ test that has just taken place nationally in the UK.. so it is a 'proper one' despite the flash program.. which I agree does look cheap.. but it's the content not the presentation..

143 out of a possible 15-something.

However, I hope this isn't a scientific survey because I just botched it, since it is geared for UK and I am from US. Answer the locale questions was..ummm...inventive sort of. (I am West of the UK and the town of Brighton is not that far from me here! lol)

I got 106 which i was quite disappointed with as I thought I was brighter than that! Still,I did it whilst watching the programme on T.V with lots of homely distractions etc. (excuses!). Those maths questions really got me...

Well it's nice to see an actual IQ test online then. There are about 800 others that are complete nonsense. Most of them aren't even timed.

Maybe I will take it now that it's legit. But Ill be in the same boat as pele with it being geared up for people on another continent.

Haven't done this one yet, but on last years one I scored 129. Will probably do worse this time around, as I've done very little brain work of any sort since leaving uni.
I wouldn't take these scores as gospel, though. I know last years' was critcised for scoring too highly.

Considering the amount of rubbish I speak and common sense I very rarely have, I got a figure that seems a little too high

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

I don't think that my IQ has ever been tested. I know I am really good at English and Science but anything that has to do with Math I suck at. My best subject is music though.

I did it on the night. All the questions were timed so it was hard to answer before they asked the next one. It puts a lot of pressure on. I think I responded to it!

Jo, Fluffy and Pele are all far too clever and should be forced to retake the test with the monitor tuned off

Mind you, a high IQ dosent mean you also have common sense.

Hmmm, last time I did one of these I got 125, but I'm too afraid to take it again. An IQ test should be properly standardised anyway or it's a bit useless. This one will have been should have been standardised for the UK TV watching public, so all you non-UK peops will score less anyway.
