I a lot of different moves to try and learn but feel I'm limited because of my poi style. I have chain link poi and cathedrial wicks...I try to isolations and stalls and keep locking the poi up in themselves...is it my equipment or me???

Thanks for any help...

its lack of practice: give it some time, and keep working at it! smile

although isolations are definitely easier with socks IMHO

Because ActiveAngel sounds like a feminine deodorant

it does seem that most things are easier with socks

Thanks for the feed back...I used the wrong wording I ment wraps... I can do just about every other move on this site and mix up the style to fit mine but the wraps are really frustrating...I seem to be missing something in my technic...

I'll keep working on it...

for doing wraps, it's important to keep some tension on the chains/sock.. keep your hands the same distance apart though the wrap will pull them slightly together. If you let your hands move towards each other it goes wrong. I find it easier if I turn my body as they wrap. Seems to keep the tension better.
