Posted:So came across this some time ago actually but never did find the link for it again. Welp now i've found it thanks to Stumble! (love that lil button)

http://www.grapefrukt.com/blog/isotope2/

its not intended for poi and such but it makes for a great way to quickly illustrate spin and antispin. Also REALLY helpful for planning out your next pattern to work on.

Here's some sets to try, just copy and paste these into the text bar in the tool then hit play:

0.5:70:-2:50 (antispin flower)
0.5:70:2:50 (regular spin flower)
-1:40:2:80 (antispin elipse)
0.5:40:-2:60:2:50 (antispin flower with isolation, have to ignore the middle rotation point...)
0.5:40:-1.8:40:-1.6:60:2.8:50:1:50:-2.8:80 (omg wtf?)

if you find any other cool patterns, post em, but being this is the poi move forum do try and post some possible patterns, something we can all try.

I once learned every move that there was,
Every style, Every technique.
Then I woke up, and forgot it all,
So now I struggle to dream.

Posted:It is called lock-out.

In terminology it's long arm extension, part of flower group.

Yes.

It can be 5 petaled flower in flower, where every

second circle is slowed rapidly down.

The tool is nice, you can imagine one hand

having more than one shoulder or elbow.

Posted:Actually flowers, but they look like that, cause

every second arc(beat) is a bit smaller.

That cause the bigger arc, between

lockoutsin, getting over each other.

Code:

___ .......... small arc

/ \

O O..........lock-outs

\ /

\_/..........big arc

This is interesting, remining hybrid,

but I'll look on it closer tonight.

Posted:Hi

I just have developed a quick and dirty code for modeling spin/antispins/hybrids ... in a single plane.
It is available there : http://www.jonglage.net/juggleSpyro.html

A quick documentation is available if you click on the "?" icon
