Hello, hello and welcome to the all-new, shiny thread for fire dancers, spinners, object manipulators, drummers, musicians and anyone else interested in these arts anywhere in Ireland.

Our community started coming together a few years ago, and it's grown to include people from all over the country...

If you are new to poi or staff or spinning stuff and want to meet up with any of the Irish spinners, please post in this thread, introduce yourself and feel free to come along to the workshops, gatherings or events that get talked about.

Also, if you'd like to be on my mailing list for fire gatherings and other juggling events, please PM me your email address and I'll add it. The fire gathering takes place fortnightly in Belfast, but it's one way to keep in touch with everyone.

So welcome, and hope to see you soon wave

off trekking in vietnamese/chinese border in a day or 2 so reckon will bring the fire poi and enteretain the hill tribes (any excuse!).

you could hold them in your fist and however your want, ideally between your fingers but its all up2u. what type of socks did ya have? best idea is get into pennys and get a set of over the knee socks and stick a juggling ball in each and you get a temp set...

btw, if the ongoings in Irish juggling and circus acts you can have a look at
https://www.emeraldcircus.com - cya there smile

Well i've never met any of you, so if you see me on my own with some non-spinny people, please please please come over and say hi, as i think it would be great to meet some HoP heads.

And i shall also be jumping at any1 that is spinning, so dont be too freaked out if i seem really excited to actually see other people spinning, in the flesh. biggrin

I'm gonna chill out in Paris until the following Thursday and continue the spinipulation madness, then return hopefully with perfect timing for Galway Juggling Convention.

What is the story with Galway juggling convention by the way?
Clonakilty juggling convention should be happening last weekend of September if all goes to plan, hopefully including 48/72 hour hall bounce
Anyone else heading to uberparis? (www.uberevents.org)

Hope everyone is well and hopefully see ye soon
