Its going to be a "Blood Moon"! Fire-spinning under a blood moon, anyone? tongue

Why let your body be a temple? When it can be a theme park?

At least a majority of the northern hemisphere that counts. wink

Lunar Eclipses are overrated. Just kinda gets a bit darker for a while.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

Have you seen one? The moon literally just gets redish for an hour. It's really not that exciting.

And I love astronomy stuff.

Frankly, I think that the Hubble Telescope Photos are way way cooler.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

ubblol they are smile but a lunar eclipse (to me) is much more than just a reddish moon. It's sitting down and watching the phenomenon, getting all kinds of imagery of two rocks, revolving around each other and a light-source...

Two rocks revolving around each other in a way that one (every x months) gets in front of the other, casting a shadow...

As part of the "homo luminae" find me very intrigued, how a move must look like to suit and deserve the description "eclipse"... wink

T'was great. I bombed out the pub and dived into the carpark to watch it, no-one else had a clue what I was gibbering about when I ran though the bar going on about the blood moon ... just a load of odd looks until people followed me out and stood watching.

Very pretty, made me realise that ultimately I'm going to zero effect on the universe, only the denizens of it I meet. That was kinda reassuring as I know that one day they'll all die !!! MWAH !

Al Murray - genius !

Ghainma - just that, no matter what I, or anyone else does, the planets and stars etc will all continue as they are now. The only thing I can have an effect on is people - since we're all gonna die, it's ultimately pretty much meaningless since eventually all endevours will be forgotten and buried.

But the Universe keeps on rockin'. biggrin

I had no idea till I found a load of old people standing in the street looking up. They invited me to join them so I stood out in the street with the gang of 70 year olds looking up with our mouth’s open. A group of teen-age kids walked past n starting pointing at the random gathering lol bet they thought we had gone nuts.

life is what you make it and what you want it to be
