That site seems to suggest it contains phosphorus? Isn't that kinda poisonous? Looks cool, though...

Phosphorous is a substance that bursts into flame on contact with air - so I really hope they don't. I'm not sure where you saw that but phosphor is often used in analogies for something that is very bright.

Considering the applications they suggest for thei products, they must be non toxic.

Does look very cool...

If you click on the picture of glow-rope on the linked page, it comes up with a blurb, saying:

The phosphorus is bound to the fibers so it won't wear off, wash out or fade!

Yeah I think they do... Or perhaps the rope is designed to spontaneously combust?

I think you may be right, I was wondering if they were referring to a compound of phosphorus, but they probably arn't. I saw some toothpaste yesterday that proclaimed it contained "liquid calcium". Considering that calcium metal reacts vigorously in air, and melts at nearly 900 C I am quite surprised that noone has sued them yet...

You aren't thinking or really existing unless you're willing to risk even your own sanity in the judgment of your existence.

Green peppers, lime pickle and whole-grain mustard = best sandwich filling.
