Now come on Ravehead, you obviously have enough passing interest in Blue Peter badges to know that anyone can buy one on Ebay. And if you think people would buy them on Ebay, you must be aware of the part they play in the rich cultural landscape that is growing up in Britain wink

Also, there's 3 yes's now, but no explanations? How did you get them people...

I tried a few times.. and failed.. I think it really effected me psycologically as a child..

must try harder were on my school reports.. but if you put maximum effort into something and don't get the BPB.. then what is the point?

Okay when I clicked on this thread I sooooo didn't expect that ubblol

But no, I don't have one sadly, being In Ireland Competions n' stuff that were shown on UK tv weren't for us, and if they were, you had to be from Northern Ireland. I don't know why....but there was something about that badge when you were a kid....you just.... wanted one. It showed you did something, and you could wear it on your clothes everyday and make all your friends jealous! biggrin!

I really, really wanted one of these...

My dad worked on a North Sea oil rig when I was growing up - two weeks on, two weeks off - and always seemed to miss either my birthday or Christmas.

I wanted Jim to let me visit him on the oil rig... because kids weren't allowed frown

Never happened though :le sigh:

biggrin
