It is true. My first love was a guy called Dave and I have a couple of Daves as mates.

One Dave I know is one of my cat's kittens whom I nicknamed Dave as a joke, but the guy who took him liked the name so much he kept it!

Are we nearly there yet?

I was taught staff by Dave/Knoxious, I also know Jez/Dave. My friends twin brother is called Dave (that's the one that wants to get married to her Dave).

Confusing huh!!

hhmmm....How very strange...! hehe

My best friends flatmate is a Dave - But unfortunately he's one of those seemingly rare Dave's that is just not bred from the 'Nice Dave gene'...

The college I live in has 7 Dave's (all very nice ) And I know two Dave's from classes, plus one of my lecturers....

Oh, and I used to have a 'puppy love' crush on my next door neighbour, who is....yup, you guessed it - Dave.... who'd have thought? hehe

I'm gonna go try this out on my friends and stuff now...!

Adios!

to the best of my knowledge i don't have any mates called dave.

in fact, even though i find it very hard to believe myself, i can only think of one dave that i've ever met - my uncle. but as he's lived in new zealand since before i was born and has only come back to uk 3 or 4 times since, i can't count him as a mate.

sorry slaanneesh, i didn't mean to piss on your parade, but until i meet and become friends with a dave your proven fact must remain a theory.

unless i'm in some way offensive to daves and they want nothing to do with me

i'm sorry daves, whatever i did i didn't mean it

I actually don't have a friend name Dave. But it's still funny.

A while back I knew a band called "A Jenny Thing" becuase every guy has had some kind of crush/fling/romance with a girl named Jennifer.

Oh... I knew a guy in High School who'd call everyone Dave. He said it was easier than actually learning everyone's names.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

Thats sooooo true as well, well in my case at least. But anyway, all Jenny's are evil, IMO

But a question "Why are all people called Dave So nice???????"

And i knew a girl called Fiona, who too called every one Dave because it was easier, it attually made a lot of sence in a "That crazy bird, Fiona" kind of way
LOL

When all my friends from high school and all my friends from Uni first met at my 21st last year, one of my besties from high school (he's a little off-beat! hehe) decided to call everyone Bruce - cause it was easier than remembering everyone's names.... hhmm. Go figure.

Now it has completely stuck and quite a lot of my friends refer to me (and anyone from home that I refer to) as Bruce. It's growing on me I must admit.

Yep, it's true.

A girl I know once fancied a Dave, but instead went out with Dave, but then realised she really wanted to be with another Dave. Wouldn't have minded but I really fancied her! And now my ex is going out with my mate Dave.

It's all really quite confusing sometimes

My sister went through a phase where she called everyone in our family Chelsea.

Then she called everyone Beatrice.

Last month she was calling everyone Gertrude.

We're not entirely sure if she's trying to insult us or not. Either way, its funny when my dad answers to the name Gertrude....

And everyone at work is going out with people called dave. Except me - he's called Jon. But people at work have decided to refer to him as Dave anyway to save the confusion of having to remember more than one name.
