That Rufus is totally bodacious dude!

I have a teenage daughter known as SNOOPoi on HoP. When Rufus is old enough you'll be able to spin together too. Is he interested in poi yet? Hang on a minute did you say he was 2, I bet he's interested in everything

Are we nearly there yet?

Well... maybe I should say this but Kinuden's pop has spun before.

I was talking to him the second night I spun with the little guy and he was saying how he was having trouble doing the weave while rotating 360 degrees.

I have a wonderful 4-yr old named Jordan. I think Pele also has an 8-yr old? Am I anywhere close, Pele?

Pele's son is now 8. He spun a few years ago at the Vermont Spin Gathering. He's spun a few times since but isn't overly intested.

FYI: I am not Pele. If you wish to reply to me and use a short version of my name, use: PWB.

Thanks Jaidendawn and PWB.

Noah (my son) actually prefers staff when he is faced with both of them, but is currently interested in learning to juggle instead. He has played around with Devil Sticks as well but finds them a bit big and challenging at the mo.
However, since I have been doing this since he was little, he treats it with a very nonchallant attitude now!

I'm my mum's son, and she spins poi...does that count?

Can I reverse the question to find out anyone else's parents who spin poi/staff/woteva?

I was twirling over xmas last year in Sicily as you do... and I had an old guy who looked in his 80's hobble up to me with his cane.

He spoke only Italian and wanted to have a spin of the poi, I handed them over and he spun them with ease, 5 beat weave and butterfly. I was really impressed. He handed them back to me and picked up his cane and spun it round like a staff. I had trouble keeping my jaw closed. He then took out of his wallet an old certificate showing me that he was a black belt in Ninjitsu. Then he put the certificate back in his wallet and hobbled off.

After seeing that I called it a day.

I am the guy running around with his hair on fire!!
