A couple of friends of mine went up to Cabbage a few weeks ago and said it was a fantastic night out. Really friendly crowd and excellent music.

Personally I would recommend The Arches in Sheffield for a truly brilliant night out and to meet some very colourful characters who hang around this board.

Are we nearly there yet?

Cabbage is good. The sound system is great and the music is brutal and the people are nice.

However....

Headcharge @ the arches, Sheffield is far better. There is more choice of music, the music can get nasty but is rarely as hard as Cabbage for the whole night (which is good I think - you might disagree though... :-). The spinners at the Arches are A LOT better than at Cabbage and there is more room for it (when Cabbage fills up you pretty much have to spin outside of the club - in the middle of Chapeltown)

You'll have a great time if you go to Cabbage, but make sure you check out Headcharge too.

Jo.

Getting stuck in Sheffield is not necessarily a bad thing (I'm from Nottingham and got stuck there a few times). There's lots of fluffy people and always a place to stay if needed.

Are we nearly there yet?

and if you're stuck for a place to crash you could always join the list of hoppers who've stayed at our house (although you might want to check with spiral first as he's the only person who's actually there at the moment)

wherever you go, there you are.

Can one of the Leeds peeps tell me a little about the drum and bass scene there please.

I promote dnb in the South and am considering setting a night up in 2004 in Leeds if it all looks good.

Gracias!
