BJC 2007 will be held at Harvey Hadden Sports Stadium (map) (satallite), Bilborough, Nottingham between the dates of 11th –15th April 2007. This will be the 20th BJC and the second time it has been held in Nottingham, the first being ten years ago.

BJC 2007 is held for all types of circus style performers: from hobby jugglers to professional entertainers. We welcome all types of acrobats, aerialists, street entertainers, circus performers and object manipulators.

BJC 2007 is a place to attend workshops to learn new skills, improve on old skills and meet old friends and make new ones. We have various shows on in the evening as well as different forms of entertainment: bands, DJs, fancy dress, films, etc. There is a big show in the Royal Concert Hall on the Saturday evening after the Juggling Olympics and a parade through town.

BJC2007 is proud to announce that we will be hosting the World Juggling Federation UK Open Championchips (WJF UK), the first ever British Balloon Modelling Convention (BBMC1) and the World Juggling Video Federation (WJVF)

What an awesome couple of days that was - my first BJC too smile

My hands are still sore from all the clapping. I don't think I've ever seen so many talented acts in such a short space of time.

Nice to meet some new people, connect a few names to faces and to see all of you I already knew once again. I can't wait for Play now biggrin

Oh, and Jo I have just one thing to say: 12 wink

Hey everyone.

Hope you all got home safely and suchlike.

Thanks to everyone for the weekend... it was great to see everyone and get so many muchly needed hugs from friends.

Does anyone have Devkev's email addy? If so, can you PM it to me? He was very kind when I was feeling a bit sad.

Great BT routine... gorgeous Mog routine... Jeanine blew my mind... hurrah for inspiration.

I'm on a fairly extreme emotional rollercoaster at the minute, so I'm very, very sorry for being upset on people yesterday morning. I'm highly embarrassed.

redface frown redface

But it was good to see everyone - and I have bruises all over both arms from the staff that refused to go where it was supposed to.

Take care

Yup Clare I too have multi-bruises on both arms, mostly from trying to treat the staff like a devilstick and only half succeeding!

I too wanna get hold of DevKev, he owes me a deltoid... To replace the one I've only just accquired in the past few days...

Had a bloody brilliant time. Not feeling like an intimidated newbie like I did last year helps. Despite going to none but a few workshops... It was nice that HOPpers has an area to call their own...

It was definitely nice to meet HOPpers I never met before. Most notably Ronan and Clare of the Irish contingent. Thanks for the massage Ro! Clare I hope despite the troubles on your mind that we were able to provide some respite from it.

Yup the shows were great too. At last they got a compere who wasn't just a juggler trying to be funny and failing miserably, instead was more like a comedian who also juggles. Did a damn fine job.

Thanks to everyone who GAVE me food despite be being able to afford to eat the on-site food! You will be repaid in sexual harassment...
