BJC 2007 will be held at Harvey Hadden Sports Stadium (map) (satallite), Bilborough, Nottingham between the dates of 11th –15th April 2007. This will be the 20th BJC and the second time it has been held in Nottingham, the first being ten years ago.

BJC 2007 is held for all types of circus style performers: from hobby jugglers to professional entertainers. We welcome all types of acrobats, aerialists, street entertainers, circus performers and object manipulators.

BJC 2007 is a place to attend workshops to learn new skills, improve on old skills and meet old friends and make new ones. We have various shows on in the evening as well as different forms of entertainment: bands, DJs, fancy dress, films, etc. There is a big show in the Royal Concert Hall on the Saturday evening after the Juggling Olympics and a parade through town.

BJC2007 is proud to announce that we will be hosting the World Juggling Federation UK Open Championchips (WJF UK), the first ever British Balloon Modelling Convention (BBMC1) and the World Juggling Video Federation (WJVF)

I missed "Get the shoe" frown
I saw as much as the show as I could but because the sound levels were too high I had to leave the hall by the beginning at Dietz's poi routine, though I've only now realised how that must've looked at the time biggrin

Just found this too cool

Grr that's Rob Firey's pictures i tried reverse blackmail to stop him putting it up... to no avail

Get the Shoe was amazing, mind blowing, just... amazing!! Frst time i've seen them and hopefully not the last!!

ubblove

yeh get the shoe was pretty damn good! i was well impressed - they must've spent ages on it, it was really imaginative!

Argh - you came to that?
I spent the entire festival asking Strugz who you were ubblol

Sorry it was a bit of a thrown together workshop - I'd had 5 minutes notice, and I seldom throw my poi (and I was hungover) smile
You didn't miss much on Thursday (aside from us) - just Meg nearly killing Rob, lots of cheese, one bit of smut and Kev being cool.

Sadly, bikinis are made of lycra and polyester, so don't pass Toasts' stringent safety checks.

Though there is always renegade wink

bah strugz has no idea who i am! and if he does he has yet to come over and say 'hi, i be strugz!' but yeh i came away from your workshop thinking 'that weave throw was a really cool move' and if i do that, even with only one of the moves i've learned, then i like the workshop biggrin

I'D be tempted it you were sprawled out on a giant mousetrap... smile

hey man as long as i don't get snapped by the big metal snapper i'm up for that! - it's your broken back, not mine! and if people actually dared it'd be wicked for my self-esteem i tell you that! although i'd rather replace me with Brandon Boyd *swoons*....

and hey everyone, lets not forget, for all those who use the excuse that bikini's are made out of flammable materials and therefore are a fire risk - they don't HAVE to be made out of flammable materials now do they? wink

For anyone who missed Get the Shoe, go here;

https://videos.gettheshoe.com/

They've put the whole routine up on their website, which is extremely kind. It's in the 'big stage' bit. It's a bit funnier in some bits now, I guess this is an older recording, but it's well filmed for a live show.

Check it smile

That was a great weekend - although much too short as I only arrived well after midnight on Friday, and so missed the cabaret, the fireshow, lots of workshops....

Next time.

I'm afraid i didn't really get talking to many of you lovely people, mostly due to an evil migraine all day on Saturday making me very antisocial and grumpy frown I even thought I was going to have to leave during the public show due to impending head explosions (that's how it felt anyway.) Very glad i stayed though - Janine, William and Get the Show wow

I've been putting off posting here until i could manage to upload the video i took of Dunc being chased by an army of peggers at the alternative games run by Play ( clap great job by the way guys ubblol ) but my laptop keeps switching itself off during the never-ending upload. I'll get there eventually though.

Just opened up a DVD that Jacob and Sophie sent me with the some of the fire show on ...including Orange's contact full fire staff bit (she's a NUTTA! ubbloco) and Vodka's attempt to utilise my event insurance to the max eek..

So I'm guessing its all been recorded at least twice. Howie at Juggling dot TV is really up for providing performers with their footage in return for using it on the DVD.

Meg, where's my last few episodes of BSG3 please?
Just saw some of your British'ish act too on J&S's DVD... most impressive young paduan clap

So yeah anyway... what did I used to do before organising a BJC confused

Answers and suggestions on a peg on Duncan's crotch please... classic biggrin
