well i did a search and didn't find anything about this.
Well the other week my Students union held an Alter Ego Fancy Dress ball, and the Circus and Street performance society was asked to put a display on, 30 mins 7 people dressed as ninjas, and all i can say is that it went down well, some improvised glows/LED staffs (mini glow sticks taped to the end), LED devil sticks, LED poi, and glow juggling, it all went great!!, up on stage, really nervous, but as soon as i stated spinning hte nerves went!! even if i did tangle my poi, but it was a great night, and the society even gets a cut of the profits for the social account.
