OK, here's a bit of sillyness for you mid-week:

Find a song that you can change a word or too in the lyrics of and it suddenly becomes about poi (or any of the twirling/juggling arts).

To start it off I suggest David Bowie's "Boy's keep swinging" - just change every instance of the word "Boys" to "poi's"... This works pretty well through the whole song I think:

Least number of word changes that result in the "best fit" song wins the respect and admiration of the community!

I have several large jars of the stuff. I actually like it... a little. And don't tell anyone I admitted to it.

Hmm, what about the old song "do you wanna dance" by the ramones. If you changed dance to poi, it'd work pretty well clap

"Spin Me Round"

Except instead of "me" use "poi"

*singing: You spin poi round, round baby right around like a record baby round, round, round, round...*

Yo, P. O. I , Let's spin it!

Poi Poi Baby, Poi Poi Baby
All right stop, spin around and listen
Joey's back with her brand new invention
My hands grab a hold of them tightly.
flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop? Yo -- I don't know
Turn off the lights and they'll glow
To the extreme I rock the poi like a vandal
Light up the wicks and they'll burn like a candle.

Poi poi Baby spinilla, poi poi Baby spinilla
Poi poi Baby spinilla, poi poi Baby spinilla
