It's going to be a squash on the way up and hell on the way back (we have a 5th person) so pack light smile Thankfully, since we're not camping, the boot should be big enough for a rucksack each + staves can go between people (it's a big enough car).

I should be able to get all my stuff in a smallish rucksak, and my staff stuffed behind the seat is how I normally do it with my car.

I guess we can all put a hoop round ourselves for tinypixie too biggrin

Was there any final decision from Durbs then? could I stay at yours if he's not coming Nx (Dave seemed to think probably but I hadn't actually asked yet)? I'd much rather Durbs was in Ed too (and his missus I haven't met his lovely lady yet) but I don't know where I can park myself still, it would be wrong to just impose on people.. You've just reminded me of this this photograph, which looks like a lightbox shining out of someone's arse.

Would that do?

I'll second Yakumo's worry. We (TinyPixie, possibly TartanFairy and I) were wondering if there'll be space for the odd night in Ed if it gets too late to drive back towards Glasgow?

One thing I can say: if there were to be 'emergency' crash space, it wouldn't be at my house. We are the full.

Other people might have different views.

sleeping bags would probably be necessary.

It's almost christmas. And then it's almost new year biggrin
And then I get to come and play bounce

One question (cos I can't be arsed to wade through 9 pages.....) Is there anything happening the few days before? Just cos I think I have somewhere to go and get all dressed up and dance on NYE itself.

Would be wicked to see people though.

You havn't mentioned any of this to me, even tho i'm your mate, occaisional collegue, live in the same city, play with the same toys, go to the same places to play with them, and most importantly HAVE A GREAT BIG FLAT WITH NO-ONE IN IT OVER XMAS/NEW YEAR THAT COULD QUITE COMFORTABLY HOLD A DOZEN PEOPLE.

Be ashamed.
