Posted:27th - Tidy flat, get food in. Arrange sticks nicely against back wall of practise room. Buy paraffin. Pick up people arriving today. Do some quiet fire spinning maybe. watch movies, chat, rest.

28th - More people arrive. Start to hate whoever had this dumbass idea. Get them all sorted in their various new homes. Do some cold spinning someplace. Do some fire spinning, do some filming. Shoot the breeze. Discuss plans for next few days. Watch movie. Juggle till late at night. Get take out. Sleep.

29th - Go practise in tepooka. Force people to do impromptu workshops on highly advanced or highly silly stuff. Maybe do something other than staff today. Pick up any remaining strays. Maybe go on a group outing to movie theatre land. Fire spinning. Feel pooped. Watch other people spin. Get up to some crazy antics. Go home. Sleep.

30th - Hopefully go practise in tepooka. otherwise cold practise on a hill, or partially sheltered by a big fat building. Let people go off and explore the wonderful tourist attractions of edin-burrrrr. Fire spin, talk censored, film. Start preparing the liver for new year.

31st - Chill out day. rest, clean up, tidy up, prep for getting utterly smashed. Tape fire works to sticks. Talk to noobs. Buy booze. start drinking at 6-8... continuing through to maybe 6 am. along with spinning fire, fire works, setting off fireworks, singing badly in chorus, and getting invited back to random parties. then going back home and talking more crap, drinking and so on. Drop like a stone into bed.

1st - Hangover day. Maybe greasy spoon restaurant day. Rest, do some small amount of spinning. Watch movies while trying to get over hangover. Eat more food. get stoned. do some juggling in the middle of the night. Sleep fitfully.

2nd - get rid of people before hosting flat and flatmates get too annoyed.

3rd - get rid of ado-p. wink Get ready to go back to work.

Posted:Or just carry on spinning to keep the circulation going..?

I found that one of those pocket-sized waterproof coats (the ones that roll up into a pocket-sized can probably cost 5-10) are good for going under the outer layer (not good for being the outer layer as it has little traction and is flamable) and gives good manouveurability for spinning for those who can't move their arms when wearing a bulky winter coat.

I'm at the point (and age) where long thermal underwear is looking like an attractive option...
